 I’m making a list of the things I must say

 For politeness,

And goodness and kindness

 And gentleness,

Sweetness and rightness:

Goodbye.

If you know some that I’ve forgot,

Please stick them in your eye!

PIE OR POST not a tough decision

I had two hours.  I could either write a clever post or make pie.

Sorry, no contest.  

We took the two apple pies, along with trout DH caught, for a ride.

 There the fish were breaded and deep fried.

 When the breaded trout were ready...

 ...fresh onion rings got the same treatment.

only one more thing to make it a meal.

It was all good.
