Although the slowly retreating snow and blooming crocus are a welcome occurance.
And the sun is finally shining brightly through the geraniums in my kitchen.
A true sign of spring for me is FINALLY a day when the furnace doesn't kick on all afternoon and I can go about without needing to wear thermals under my shirt. WooHoo!!!
love the geranium leaf.
ReplyDeleteCrocus blooming? Hopefully mine will peek through this week. But spring is here - we had our first outdoor barbeque yesterday.
ReplyDeleteGet out the bikini! Time to frolic!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lot warmer here - but this afternoon we had very heavy rain - the first for quite some time!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I measure the seasons in number of layers too :)
ReplyDeleteI am quite enamoured of the humble geranium, but my husband can't stand them. Then again, he likes thermals but they make me claustraphobic.Glad you are heading into Spring, while we head into my favourite Autumn- the yin and the yang eh? Hope your lovely geranium is flowering in no time.
ReplyDeleteIs it so wrong of me to enjoy these last few days that call us to cocoon? I miss it when we walk easy. Frig, I am so northern it is a bit demented, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteTo warmer times!
