WE'LL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW---

Just playing with words and this is what happened.
Don't know where it came from--kind of a weird ouija board sort of thing.

  1. man! Good question! I don't think they see it coming- like blowing up in an airplane- no time to scream just BLOOOEY!
Do bugs have little bug souls that go live with bug angels ? It would be a very crowded place I am thinking.

  5. Leenie re your camera inquiry - the softness in my photo is due to the very shallow depth of focus caused by the macro lens and shooting against a light background. The flowers were in a vase in a well lit conservatory.
With your D40 you can get the shallow depth of field by using a high f number, but as this gives you a small aperture you also have to use slow shutterspeed and really need a tripod or a very steady hand. If you haven't got one you can prop your camera up on books and a pillow arrangement and use timer release so you don't move the camera when you press the shutter.
Hope this is of some use. Do you use the 'manual' setting? If not is is worth a play. (If you havn't got a tripod you can get some cheap ones but I got one and found when I tightened up the head when I got it in the right place, it moved - okay for general shots, but not so good for macro, so get the best you can afford)
If you want to ask anything else you can e mail me via my 'profile'. Best wishes, JIll

  7. Ha! Much needed smile on a Monday morning! Would love to learn more from you about fonts and such. Just found myself interested in it recently and it's a facinating subject. I'll never look at the print in a book the same... I really like handlettering and would like to learn more on how-to. I'll let you know how the new pen works out!
