Clipped from our local newspaper. This happened just a few miles away.
Nothing more was added to the photo.
Not even a reason for the wrong spelling of pole.
We'll just have to guess the rest of the story.
DH and I went out to eat at a restaurant that features sushi.
Even though the menu was well written,
none of the raw fish entrees sounded good enough to eat to either of us.
DH ordered a burger with fries and liked it a lot. I decided to go with
"Life's short, eat dessert first," and asked for the tempura bananas.
"Bananas dipped in tempura batter and fried to a golden crisp,
dredged in cinnamon and sugar, topped with caramel sauce,
whipped cream, cherry and a side of vanilla ice cream."
I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing I would change
is perhaps a drizzling of chocolate syrup.
Yum!
ReplyDeleteGOOD CALL! Yup life is short thought you could never convince a teenager of that fact...I remember...
ReplyDeleteI feel so sorry for that big kitty stuck up there with , most likely , guns below...
Oh, poor cougar! I hope it got down safely.
ReplyDeleteA burger at a sushi place? I think I'd have gone to a burger place at that point. Of course you'd have missed eating that fried banana! Chocolate makes everything better.
It looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteThe red cherry is similar to the lion on a power pole. Special symbol(*^m^*) !
Did it get down okay!!!?

You should write a letter to the Editor and asked the "who, what, when, why, and where" that should have been provided. I wanna know how it got down!
ReplyDeleteSushi? I'd take the burger, too.
ReplyDeleteCool shot of the lion. Scary. I love your theory eat dessert first or in my case only. That looks delicious. Now I am hungry thanks. B
ReplyDeleteWOW
ReplyDeletethat made me laugh.
That is a very traditional Japanese dish, you know.
How did the mountain lion get down?
Bananas and whipped cream - what could be better! Scrumptious! I love that you ordered dessert first, Leenie!
