HOW HOT IS IT?

It’s so hot, that my “hot flashes” are becoming the only times I feel “cool!!”

You discover it takes only two fingers to drive your car.

Cows are giving evaporated milk.

Chickens are laying boiled eggs.

It’s so hot, I wore my wrinkled clothes outside, and got them steam pressed

It so hot the fish in my pond are sweating!

It's so hot...you learn that a seat belt makes a pretty good branding iron.

The potatoes cook underground, and all you have to do to have lunch is to pull one out and add butter, salt and pepper.

It's so hot you experience condensation on your tush from the hot water in the toilet bowl.

What's the weather like where you are?

  1. Its April cold in our part of Texas for a week! Not our typical Julyness dryness.

  2. It's atypically cool, at least ten degrees below our normal eighties. I thought the horse in the trough was too much, until I saw the raccoon in the drinking fountain. The little bugger probably is holding the tap open, having figured that out in a flash.

  4. Oh dear! It was reasonably hot yesterday and Saturday. Not that hot today and supposed to be cloudy tomorrow. Love the pictures! I also enjoyed the first installment of your trip the other day. Hope it cools down soon!

  6. Pretty much the same, we have lot's of condensation downstairs because it's cold in the basement, and baby is it hot upstairs.

    Humid too....lol.

So you got caught in a storm in Canada...lol, in BC? Really, I am so surprised, LOL. Just teasing, hope you had a great trip.

  7. Well Leenie you are the only one that could make me laugh out loud when others are sweltering:) Keep cool and safe. It is cool and raining here, more comfortable to put more on clothes than trying to peel off the nothing you are wearing no doubt. Seriously be safe. B

  8. I love the trough-horse! We've had a respite of upper 70s for two days, down from the low 90s of last week.

I recommend listening to the Ozark Mountain Daredevils song: Ooh Boys(It's Hot)
