THIRTY DAY CHALLENGE--A PHOTO A DAY--day seven

It was a cloudy morning and a Monday.
Seemed like a good time to photograph a cemetery.

The atmosphere is always very grave in  place like this.

Death happens all around us but so does living and growing.

  1. And suddenly there came a raven, tapping, tapping at the mausoleum door.

  2. I find most cemeteries to be very peaceful. They don't disturb me at all and some of them are downright beautiful.

  4. Great catch of the raven. I can't say I like the color of the fungus. Gray or purple would have been perfect. Keep that in mind. (Haha)

  5. YES, cemetery photos, a personal favorite. They give a "feel" for the town- our cemetery is in sections, child, baby, most folks, and the jewish cemetery which is my fave, small with an iron fence around it. Next time you come up here we will go to the Lummie cemetery- very unusual. AND do you know how many dead folks are there?
