IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

Things I wish I had

1.  A way to recycle the warm moist air from my dryer into my house without the lint.

2. A heater for the wheel wells in my car to melt the build-up of ice caused by driving in snow.
3. A silent vacuum cleaner
4. A way to turn a yogurt container lid into a spoon.
5.  Markers that give a warning when they are running out of ink.
6.  Rich, dark, calorie free chocolate.

Is that too much to ask?

Samantha K. sent me a link to the product I was looking for.  I love good blog friends.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Is it too much to ask
I want a comfortable bed that won't hurt my back
Food to fill me up
And warm clothes and all that stuff
Shouldn't I have this
Shouldn't I have this
Shouldn't I have all of this, and
Passionate kisses
Passionate kisses, whoa oh oh
Passionate kisses from you
Mary Chapin Carpenter
  3. Great wishes all.
    I wish my ex-wives would have a strange affliction that would cause them to hic- cup "Camp-town Racetrack" three times a day.
    Is that asking too much?
  4. Back in the seventies, when gas lines queued around the block, there was such a dryer vent thingy. Plastic thing-a-ma-bob. You had to put an old panty hose over the vent to catch the lint, and empty it once a week. I never noticed it improved the humidity or let me lower the thermostat--more.
  9. I wish for someone to put my Christmas tree up--every year. I'd take care of the other decorations in the house. Oh, and calorie free, rich dark chocolate.
  10. On a side note---is your dryer gas or electric?
    If it's electric, you can pull it away from the wall and put an old panty hose over the end. Catches any stray lint and humidifies the house too.
  11. RE the pantyhose on the dryer hose: First, there has to be a pair of pantyhose. (a pair? how about just one and how about just one leg of that one?). Second,considering the cost of said pantyhose there has to be worn out pair with no holes in the toes which you are willing to sacrifice.
    Yes, but I still tried it a long time ago. If the pantyhose filter wasn't cleaned of lint very often the dryer would overheat and then not only did I not have warm humid air but I also had the potential for a dead dryer. There has to be a better way.
  12. As long as we're wishing...I wish to never have to use the vacuum cleaner.
  13. Adore Mary Chapin Carpenter! :)
    It seems Murphy's Law that every marker I go to use is dry...even after recently purchased.
    And one of my great winter delights is kicking the ice build-up off the wheel wells...kind of gets my winter frustration out of the way! We just had a snowstorm (waaaay too early) and I needed that release after driving across town and wondering why everyone was acting like snow and ice was such a strange concept! Every year the first few storms bring out the fender-bender overload!
    Wishing you and your family a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving, Leenie!
