DRAMA IN THE YARD-
I'm not sure why crows hate squirrels. Perhaps squirrels rob crow nests for eggs and babies. Anyway, crows routinely attack our neighborhood squirrels. The following event happened while I was trying to read on the porch last Sunday. I had my camera ready, and the book was a little dry. The action in the yard was much better.
The ravens hate everybody! They are wicked creatures. They steal, harass and bother and yell their little beaks off at everyone!

ReplyDeleteReminds me of how the magpies used to swoop down on the cats and try to pinch their tail. Wish I had a photo of that - it was hilarious. Poor cats had to look both ways before crossing the driveway.

ReplyDeleteWOW! Great that you could shoot the action! Poor little squirrel, just minding his ouwn little rodent business...Crows are cool but , really, they should pick on those with more intellect...

Great shots. We have the same problem here but with Hawks and Mockingbirds.
