Family and loved ones will say goodbye to a dear friend. As a young man he danced with me to see if it would make my fiancé jealous. It did.
Another dear friend will be mother of the bride for the first time and see her baby walk away with a handsome young man in a tuxedo.
Our daughter’s second son will take his first breath.
LIFE goes on.
A circle.
ReplyDeleteLife's seasons sort a condensed into one week end- Surreal, dramatic. like living in quick paced karmic activity, if there is such a thing. Goodbyes are the least pleasant- I have abandonment issues...goodbyes suck, unless it is some one who really needs to go.
ReplyDeleteGood byes are hard, always.

Turn, turn, turn.
ReplyDeleteMany of life's happenings at this stage are poignant. I think the photo of the tree that you've featured is beautiful and speaks of strength, beauty and endurance. A tree such as this is awe-inspiring and touching, and in itself offers a lovely tribute to both this post and the people in it.
ReplyDeleteWhat an emotional weekend! From one extreme to the other, amazing how one can feel so much in such a short period of time.
