BABY JAY and MISS SQUIRREL--an adventure in foraging

A short story in two chapters about some of Linda Sue's friends. I put together this little video back in 2010 but it still makes me smile.

  3. So good! Now neither come around- could have something to do with scolding by the cockatiels. And that we keep the door closed so the the cockatiels do not escape. Your little film is so sweet! Mathematical!
By the way , we have a toilet! You must come back!

  4. We only have the blue-and-white version of the blue jay here in Missouri. He's quite breathtaking. But I wanted to give him the Heimlich maneuver with that peanut stuck in his throat.

  5. Val: I agree with you about wanting to give the Heimlich. But he seemed to have no difficulty hucking that big peanut back up. His problem was thinking he could carry off two at a time. We all learn so much from our own experiences.

  8. That is so sweet, Leenie! Your jays look so exotic compared to ours. I love critter adventures...they play out in our garden everyday and never fail to make me smile.
