SNOW PHOTOS

One of  the reasons I enjoy snow is the way it makes taking good photos so easy.

Grandkids are good subjects.
The problem is getting them in and out of all the coats and boots.

The reward for going out on the cross-country trail early

One of my excuses for not picking all the plums

Even the lamps in the park look artsy

SIGNS OF WINTER

Some times you're the windshield.

Some times you're the bug.

The top photo I borrowed from the internet.  I took the bottom photo half a block from our house.  Just to the left is a deep canal.  Before this morning's snow there were big tire tracks on both sides of the bent-over stop sign that went right to the canal's edge.   It appears this was literally a STOP sign.

THE THINGS WE DID LAST SUMMER part 2

Just a few more photos to remind us that the Winter Witch's spell of "always winter and never Christmas" will eventually end.

THE THINGS WE DID LAST SUMMER

While looking for a new memory chip for my camera I discovered one I’d set aside half used.  On it were photos I’d almost forgotten, taken during a family gathering last summer.  They are just what I needed to remind me of sun and warm and fun at a time when winter’s dark and cold are really dumping on the gloom.  So here for your Christmas cheer…

Fun in the sun.

Cousins gathering at our city splash park to cool down on a hot afternoon.

Water slides, fountains and our super cute grandkids.

More kids watch from the sidelines.

Two little guys watch some big guys break dancing and decide they’ve got moves of their own.

Check this out.

Match this one.

Feel the beat!

And now to show off my very first ever GIF animation is ---ta-dah!
