THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL

Yesterday I went for an afternoon walk in a gentle snow storm.

The only animal I met was a crow sheltering in some big evergreens.

The squirrels were hunkered down in the big cottonwoods down the street.

This morning the barometric pressure dropped to 29.4.

The trees started to fill up with heavy snow flakes.

All morning and into the afternoon the snow fell.

Now the wind is blowing.

Our cat, Thomas, (part Wookie, part black bear) is angry because the sofa has been moved away from his view out the window to accommodate the Christmas tree. He is NOT going outside today!
