Looks pretty artsy and Vermeery don't you think?
While I was getting my camera, Thomas, the owner of the spot of sunshine, came to investigate the intruder.
There is not enough room here for me. Move this thing out of my sunshine!
Get that camera out of my face. You're not going to allow me to enjoy the sun are you?
FINE! I'll go see if you have bothered to put fresh food in my dish.
Tried a few filters and stuff. Nothing is as good as the real thing.

My kids have been watching old episodes of "Sabrina, the Teenaged Witch" and I am suddenly struck by the similarity of your Thomas with Salem, the sarcastic warlock-turned-cat on that show. Especially when you voice Thomas' thoughts.
Salem didn't have much room in his soul for aesthetics, either.
That is so much fun! Rebel cat!
I know but it looks really nice that way! Love your header, too.
Indeed, the flowers are very Vermeery, and the sunlight is the best light of all. Cute interaction with the kitty.
Your cat is very polite- My one remaining cat would have had his way with the bouquet , knocked over the vase and then look as though somebody else did it..Very nice photo with watercolour effect- Beautiful- and your header is gorgeous!
Well done, you!
Leenie - can't imagine how that glass vase survived intact with the cat trying to reclaim his space.
Your kitty agrees! And you are a floral artist!

My dog think he's a cat, does the same thing with any spot of light that comes in, he's usually laying there. He even lays on top of the back of the couch looking out the window.
I used to have two cats, this post made me think of them again...
I think your artsy final masterpiece came out fantastic!
LOL.
So pretty, and so funny!
Beautiful flowers - and Thomas is quite handsome. My new kitties are quite fond of the their "sunny spots" as well.
I've learned that everything with a cat is on the cat's terms :) They are too much fun!
Lovely flowers. Cute cat. Funny entry. :)
What a super photo essay
the flowers alone are a delight
but the cat makes me laugh.
Yes, the do 'own' all the sunny spots.......
