THIRTY DAY CHALLENGE--A PHOTO A DAY--day fifteen

Crummy gray, windy weather so I finally had no excuse not to finish this painting.

It's called, "Just Browsing." Two young mule deer look up from grazing beneath the aspens.
You can find this and more original watercolors at my Etsy site.

Beautiful!
Mule deer ears are just amazing to me. I guess they come by that name honestly.

You live in a wildlife wonderland! Are you all safe there from the earthquakes?

Linda: We live in town but sometimes, as in the case of the moose wandering through our neighborhood, the wildlife come to us. However, in less than an hour we can be in forests and in a little more time we can be in either Yellowstone or Grand Teton Park.

As for the earthquakes, the most recent ones have been located in the center of the state so haven't bothered us. But there was a huge quake in 1983 that sent our chandelier swinging and nearly knocked us off our feet.
