I've been for a walk
on a winter's day.
All the leaves are brown and the sky is grey.
Look around you, look up here.
Take time to make time.
Make time to be there.
Look around, leaves are brown.
There's a patch of snow on the ground.
Look around leaves are brown
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter.
Look around, be a part.
Feel for the winter
But don't have a cold heart.
Can you name those three tunes and their artists without looking them up?

I got Lady and Hazy Shade of Winter.
Gorgeous shots!
Mamas and the Papas and I'm drawing a blank - yeah, I'm getting old.
What gorgeous gorgeous shots and I LOVE the chickadee (one my favorite feathered friends).
California Dreamin...maybe not. Beautiful photos!
Everybody is right so far. Now who are the other two artists?
I look around everyday, and I have found many wonders, day after day.
But I got what Mama Zen has proposed only.
Wow! OK, the other has to be Simon & Garfunkel..what a beautiful scene to reflect on- you can't beat the magic of fallen leaves and the crisp cool air with colorful berries and a lovely birdy..(lol) can't get better than that! Splendid Lennie!
Little River Band! One of my favorites in the world when I was.... never mind how old.
Great! California Dreamin' by Mamas and Papas, Lady by Little River Band and Hazy Shade of Winter by Simon and Garfunkel. NOW name the all-female band who covered Hazy Shade of Winter??
Pretty!
No, but I can sing every word to all of them. Which is a little sad. Because I can't sing ANY opera.
No, not at all but I love the pictures and the lyrics fit them perfectly!
This was fun post, but I'm drawing a blank.....aughhhhhhhh

Most of the stuff in my head is from the 80's. I'm terrible at learning song lyrics. Your pictures were beautiful - even for hazy winter days. You are so talented!
Can I just comment on the lovely shots here... dreamy...
A little note for you at my place - read the last part of the post at your own peril.

I only got the Mamas and the Papas .... but was the cover version by The Bangles? Fabulous photos!!
frayedattheedge is right. The Bangles covered Hazy Shade of Winter in 1982 and it went to number two on the US charts according to the all-knowing Wikipedia. Thanks everybody for playing along.
You know the importance of looking around in daily life.
It gives us happiness and cheerful mind. The header's photo is beautiful and interesting♪
California Dreaming is the only one I know and now I am going to cheat and look at your other comments! I really love these pictures. The mixture of sombre and bright is so lovely.
