That poor little nest looks so cold with its cap of snow.
how is your little blow of beach doing? I was just thinking about it after looking at those dry mossy plants.
Kara: You probably mean, bowl of beach--it is doing well, although wishing it was back in the misty moist Northwest. I have to spray it down to compensate for the forced air heat and total lack of humidity in our house.
I love the fish scales and the wiggly wood in particular. It is always interesting to really look at the detail in something.
Fine detail. Lovely to look at.
Fish heads, fish heads, roly poly fish heads.
I think it winked at me:) B

Fantastic close ups! The first one is very cool with the eye!
I'm not sure which one I love best--the barkless tree or the snow covered bird's nest. All beautiful shots!!
I love the details, the textures in these. Pearl
no words needed, for sure.love the stones...the wood...but i found myself in a staring contest with that roly-poly fish head!! he won.
