We went with family to Lincoln Hill for some awesome sledding.
The conditions were perfect for a great afternoon.
There were no long walks to the top because there were
four-wheeler rides with Uncle Brian,
...and crazy Uncle Fergus.

Sledding makes dealing with the snow and cold all worthwhile. Thanks goodness for the Uncles!

Linda: Hehe. Not a real beard but a crocheted "viking helmet" with yarn beard attached. "Uncle Fergus" was really rocking the look as he zoomed about with the wind wildly blowing his "beard" about.
THat is the best hill ever! Kids here are so desperate they got out their sleds to slide down the frozen runoff in the gutter- pathetic, sad. Love Uncle Fergus!
That top picture made me think of the Happy Feet penguins.
