WATCH FOR ROCK ON ROAD

One of my favorite morning walks goes between a small river and a row of campgrounds.
The campgrounds are mostly meant for scout troops and other such outdoorsy groups.
The parking lot is not far away but even with posted signs people insist
on driving in and parking where they're not supposed to park.

To discourage vehicles a large rock was set in front of the gate.
The boulder was considered a challenge to  those with big tough trucks.
The boulder kept getting moved down the road and left in odd places.

This morning I noticed the gate had been repaired and a new sign posted.

This time they're SERIOUS.

It always amazes me when people think the sign(s) mean everybody but THEM! My mother was driving my nephew somewhere, and she got to a point where the road was closed. She got out and moved the barrier, saying, "This is the only way I know to go." Sheesh!

Wonder if the trespassers will heed the sign?

What a amazing (morning?) light in the last picture.
Love the boulder.
Happy Easter to you and all your family.

This is funny we have a snowmobile trail beside us and people with now four wheelers were forever going anywhere they liked. The township put huge rocks in the path to stop them with huge machines. The gates disappeared and the rocks were removed in the dark by I assume bigger machines and unknown people. Strange. Hope it works there.
OK I leave today ttyl. Yeah B

That boulder is discouraging , but...I think I could get around it , I mean why have a road on the other side if I can't drive down it? WHY? "don't park where you're not sposed to...what does that even mean?

BHAHAHAHAH I guess so. We have trouble with those who want to just walk a little ways on the farm...ah come on...you are being selfish...but this this is BRILLIANT!
