CABIN FEVER

Icicles hang across my view

Like cold grey iron bars.
In my comings and my goings

I see less sun, more stars. (full moon over our back yard)

Outside in the silver snow is where I want to be.
Though woods are lovely, dark and deep

They're better when I ski.

Photos and poem by me

Very beautiful - snow looks so gorgeous but is often so inconvenient. It is cold here in the UK but no snow yet, just arctic winds.Almost all the bloggers I follow in US are under snow at present. Happy New Year to you.

We had 60 degrees here yesterday.... really WEIRD. Frosty had to pack his bags and head to your house! I would love to take an afternoon to ski with you.... maybe sometime soon, when DD and DH go fishing?

This is so beautiful in pictures. Winter makes for lovely photographing. I can only imagine the difficulty of getting around in it, however. Those are gigantic icicles!

What a beautiful area you live in! The full moon looks huge, and I love the distant mountain ranges.

(Looks like your snow thrower is being kept busy!!)

We have nothing like this, it's sunny all year round for us. But the weather change is very much unpredictable these days.

Good to look at your photos.

At the end, I thought you were going to quote Robert Frost's poem about having miles to go before you sleep!
But you're skiing!! That's cool.

You live in such a beautiful location, too. We have had absolutely no snow and seeing it here is wonderful, although I could see how it could be a little much sometimes.
