GLITTER AND MIST

It was one of those mornings...
when the paying job was less important...

than capturing the fleeting sparkle...

on EVERYTHING.

Just grab the camera and RUN.

Take about a hundred photographs.

Pay no attention to the coldness melting into your jeans where you sat in the snow for a special angle.

Keep shooting away...

until the sun melts the fog and the magic evaporates.

For some reason snow is absolute magic and transforms everything.
Your pictures are stunning. What wonderful angles.
Much more important than a 'job'.
When I was a teacher I always allowed the kids (15 and 16 year olds!) to rush to the window to look at the first snow.
Isn't love of the natural world what the poets wrote about?......
good thing the rincipal didn't ask for my 'lesson plan'

Oh so worth it!!! These are just exquisite. Cold, grey and soggy is what we've got now... not very photogenic :)

stephanie and i both wanted to take pictures, but we were already late, and by the time we got back to our cameras, everything was melted.

All I can say is WOW! I can only imagine the excitement you felt, running along taking one photo after then next, after the next....each moment building on the next; I think I would have exploded in joy! These are beautiful moments captured in time.

Fantastic photos! To complement your ice glitter I took some pics of sunny salt glitter on the rocks near our beach. But they didn't come out very glittery, I'm afraid ...
