STILL SUMMER

If the calendar insists it is spring in March

when we are still dealing with

snow drifts,

iced-up car windows and frozen mud;

then we're not

giving up summer

until September twenty-second.

We're wearing flip-flops everywhere--HA!

Take THAT, Mr. Weatherman.

Oh, enjoy your last days of summer! We actually also had summer today - a most divine blue sky, sun, only the teeniest bit of wind ... And then a blackbird, I mean crow, dove out of that amazing blue sky and landed right on my desk. That was so cool!

Anairam, glad you liked your crow. There's more where he came from. :0D
