Sometimes, when I first wake up, I feel like I’m walking around in a fog.

Weather like this makes even the ordinary appear a little ghostly.

Even the birds look uneasy in the fowl weather. (Did you see what I did there—haha!)

Common trees look like props from a bad horror move and the more I stare the more zombies appear.

Finally the sun begins to break through the mist.

It looks like an evil eye.

A really evil eye.

The clammy air turns the steam from the big potato processing plant into clouds.

With or without fog the concrete plant looks gray and cold.

Okay, enough dreary. What happens when the fog lifts in California? UCLA!! Have a good Monday.

Fowl weather.

I saw what you did there. :-)

I wonder if the birds think fog is fowl? Perhaps just their morning shower and no need to find a bird bath.

Thank you for sharing your morning scenes.
Please preserve heat to ward off the cold.

I am a bit jealous of your proper winter weather. It has been mainly mild and wet here, not to mention grey. The last couple of days have been a bit colder and sunnier but it is now raining again!

Ugh! Although, your photos are outstanding and humor spot on. I'm sick of January in November!

Is that an unkindness of ravens?

Leenie, love the pics and the humour. :) Fog is always neat. When we lived in St. John's, Newfoundland for four years, I learned to really respect it. There you can't see your arm when you extend it on a foggy day. But I do love how the fog takes the ordinary and twists it into something extraordinary. :)
