One
of the signs of oncoming Spring in our family is a brother and sister who share
a birthday nine years apart—on Pie Day.
Phyllis,
Florence and Blossom begin to bloom in anticipation to being moved back outside
to the porch.
Soft
rain collects on the plum tree’s potential flowers.
The
escaping socks are now colorful and short instead of fuzzy and long.
I
find runaway work gloves instead of winter mittens.
My first
morning bicycle ride of the year with a very long shadow as the sun rises due
east.

Are you sure that's not one of those funny 1890's bicycles. Great shadow!
Hooray for spring!! I found one glove that looks just like the one in your post...maybe it's the other part of that pair! :)
Thank you for sharing your happy days in spring! 川*'-')♪
Ah, yes. The traditional birthday Pi pie.
I love that bike shadow!!
wow, you actually have shadows in your world! That phenomena requires sun, wow. We have had so much rain, no snow , at all, remember the falls in the park, a trickle now. Great photo of the kids, AND the cake! BIG yum! The pie I could eat in one greedy bite!
Hooray for spring!
Loved the pi day pie.
What fun to share a birthday.
Our granddaughters do too - three years apart.
(Feb 1st)
So happy that Spring is gracing you and the birthday kids with its presence. :)
Happy Birthday to the kids! What a neat thing to share the same day!
